Beowulf – tr. Seamus Heany

Thoughts: I enjoyed reading Seamus Heany's translation of Beowulf. I don't have much to compare it to, but it's in verse rather than prose, and though the story follows different narrative conventions, I found myself turning pages eager to read what would happen next at least part of the time. I only took a single note on it:

Beowulf. 2001. Tr. Seamus Heany. W. W. Norton.
